GROUNDFISH – QUEBEC REGION – MODIFICATION TO THE RECONCILIATION OR CARRY-FORWARD PROCEDURE – 2017 SEASON

Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec Region informs Quebec groundfish licence holders under individual quota (IQ) or individual transferable quota (ITQ) that a modification to the reconciliation or carry-forward procedure for fisheries under IQ or ITQ regimes will come into effect in 2017.

Hence, Fisheries and Oceans Canada will no longer dispatch reconciliation letters by mail to inform IQ and ITQ licence holders of the overruns that occurred during the preceding season. Reconciliation and carry-forward letters will now be available only through the National Online Licencing System (NOLS).
