VESSEL HAIL SYSTEM BEFORE DEPARTING

Quebec – May 21, 2020

 

Fisheries and Oceans Canada reminds all fish harvesters that the temporary changes to the Vessel Hail-out requirements, previously announced on April 22, 2020, are no longer in effect since May 18, 2020.

When applicable, licence holders/fishing vessel operators must therefore contact the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Vessel Hail System at 1-800-561-2467 or at 1-902-464-8103 (satellite phone only) before departing for each fishing trip, in accordance with the requirements specified in their Conditions of licence.
