Notice to fish harvesters - 2020-07-13
AT-SEA OBSERVERS PROGRAM
Quebec – July 13, 2020
Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec region informs the fishing industry that the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) allows at-sea observers onboard fishing vessels in regions where there is no community transmission. Fish harvesters are required to respect their Conditions of licence concerning the at-sea observers program while also respecting the criteria of Fisheries Management Order #2020-03 that was renewed on June 28, 2020.
At-sea observers are also required to comply with the Fisheries Management Orderas well as the INSPQ's instructions.
Please note that this INSPQ recommendation could be modified according to the evolution of COVID-19 epidemiological situation.
