FISHERIES MANAGEMENT ORDER REGARDING AT-SEA OBSERVERS ON BOARD FISHING VESSELS

Quebec – August 18, 2020
Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec region informs the industry that Fisheries Management Order #2020-03, signed on May 15, 2020, and renewed on June 28, 2020, is no longer in effect and that at-sea observers deployment is back to normal. Fish harvesters are required to comply with their Conditions of Licence regarding the At-Sea Observer Program.
Fishers and at-sea observers are still required to comply with the instructions of the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) and these instructions could be modified according to the evolution of the epidemiological situation of COVID-19.
