Reminder to users of the electronic logbook for fishing effort data 2021-05-14

Fisheries and Oceans Canada – Quebec Region reminds all users of the Electronic Logbook (Elog) that all fields in the Effort section of the client application must be filled in accordance with the information in the licence conditions before proceeding to the next section of the trip, regardless of the module used. In addition, the Department reminds you to review your trip prior to submitting it to DFO to ensure that all sections have been properly completed.
Finally, DFO reminds you that questions regarding the use of the Elog application should be directed to the service provider. In addition, DFO Client Services is available to answer questions regarding catch and effort data required, the procedures described in the licence conditions and requests for data modification. The Client Service is available Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), excluding statutory holidays at 1-877-535-7307.
